In part 2 of this 3 part series, I unveil the second defensive pairing, the third line, and the head coach

Welcome to the sixth edition of my end-of-season Prime Cuts roster. To make this team, a player must have made a significant contribution to his respective NHL team in 2013 (especially relative to expectations). I want to reward players who came out of nowhere to produce, but at the same time I also want to recognize stellar performances from elite talents.

Roos takes a look at declining forwards who should no longer be considered 60-point players

In last week’s column,  I looked at forwards who should no longer be projected to score 75+ points in a season during their career, as this is a great time of year to identify guys to finally write off as never being able to achieve a certain level of production – what I call the “time to downgrade” guys. There were lots of great comments and good debates in response to last week's Part 1 article, so hopefully that momentum will carry into this week, when in Part 2 we look at several forwards who should now be ruled out as 60+ point scorers.

Toews Has Shown Hart In 2013

Amato tells us, in no uncertain terms, that Jonathan Toews is your Hart winner

The Chicago Blackhawks captured the President’s trophy last week and will now turn their attention to lifting the Stanley Cup. It took Chicago nearly two months to lose a game in regulation and this shortened season has been somewhat of a dream campaign for Blackhawks fans. That dream, however, could quickly become a nightmare if the team doesn’t replicate its success in the post-season. As those who follow the game know, dominating the regular season doesn’t guarantee anything come spring time.

Campkin gives you his "All-Geek" team - this year's top fantasy performers

With the season concluding later this evening, I have to say that it has been a lot of fun to have the opportunity to do some writing for Fantasy Hockey Geek and the Dobber Sports Network. Hopefully everybody has enjoyed the articles and used any insight I may have brought to help secure you a victory in your league. Now that the most leagues are pretty much done I want to take the opportunity to look back at some of the players I profiled and present my 2013 All-Geek Team.
