So you're putting Koivu above Sakic? Plekeanic above Stastny? I do not think this is an accurate statement by any means. Hejduk has also played with 'mediocre' guys like of Forsberg, Tanguay, Smyth, Kariya, Selanne, and still can't get the job done consistently. You do the math.

my post is being misread.

I mean Hejduk's numbers have dipped because he hasn't been guaranteed minutes with Sakic/Forsberg like he was a few years ago when both were in their primes. He now is often expected to carry the load on his line, which doesn't suit his game.

He's kind of like a more skilled Cheechoo

in his prime way more skilled, but I see your point. Hejduk thrives when he is the "closer" on skilled lines. He isn't a puck carrier or someone who sets up plays.
