Corvo vs. Zidlicky

I'm really trying to get rid of Corvo ... so do you guys think that Zidlicky will outpoint Corvo by the end of season?

I had the same choice and went with Corvo. Im not sure which is the better option actually- Id call it a toss up. Interested to see what others will say...

At this point I would probably take Zids.

But I am not too concerned about hanging onto Corvo at the moment although a lot of people are - there were such huge expectations for him coming into the season and rightly so, I don't think he had much chance of living up to them. But if you put things in perspective, he is still getting abundant opportunity on a team that tends to rely on front end scoring at the moment - I think that will begin to change some as Williams returns and the Canes get a little more upfront stability. Corvo isn't totally stinking either - and in most leagues I think the options over him aren't that great so hanging onto him isn't so bad in my mind.

Corvo versus Zidlicky....

I like Zidlicky a bit better. He's more proven, seems to be in a decent place and he's had a 50 point season! He's been a useful Fantasy hockey player in 3 of his 4 NHL seasons.

Corvo's had 40 points twice. Had that wild 20 game stretch last year and has been frustrating this year. I don't think Corvo's done for. He's a 40 point D-man, that may struggle to get to that level this year. I don't like him as an elite D-man who is going to get you 50 or 60 points. I think he'll bounce back some.

They're both born in 1977 and come with some defensive concerns.

All-in-all, I prefer Zidlicky by a small margin. I think you'll find the vote to be 6-4 for Corvo out there in Fantasy land!

I guess it's not worth my 10$ investment to make this deal happen! lol
