Thornton
but we can make the trade a larger multi player trade players im interested in off his team include:
pommer, grabovski, berglund, voracek, and Hartnell a bit.

You should definitely go for something involving a goalie. Zetty Little Vlasic for Thornton Bryz maybe? Something along those lines?

I am a fan of keeping in simple when trading for big names. Don't confuse the issue with trying to get more.
Thornton
FOR
Zetterberg plus (Little or Wideman or Kronwall)
Then be ready to up the deal. If want one of the best players in fantasy hockey you have to overpay a little.

I love Big Joe in all but i just dont think giving up zetterberg and a guy like little or even kronwall is worth it. with SOG GWG and SHP in play i think zetterberg is just a fraction less valuable than thornton.

While I agree that a healthy Zetterberg isn't that far off from Thornton there is no such thing as a healthy Zetterberg.
Games played for the last four seasons (last year first):
Zetterberg: 75, 63, 77, 61
Thornton: 82, 82, 81, 77

Not to mention that SJ plays on the odd nights... i.e. Wings usually play when everyone else plays thus you have to play him over someone VS Thornton playing on days where few other teams play thus allowing you the easy choice of playing him without benching anyone. Na wha I mean mang?
