I just received this offer in a H2H keeper league with weekly changes.
Without a lot of details I can tell you that I could give him Khabi for nothing and never miss him, in fact the empty roster spot will have value for me. So situationally this is all about the value of Spezza vs Toews in a keeper league.
I think Spezza has significant upside over Toews, but wonder if it will ever be recognized. I actually think the deal is pretty close.
Your thoughts guys?

I don't think that he's selling low on Spezza at all haha, but I think I like Spezza better than what you're giving. You're getting the best player. I think a lot of Toews reputation comes from his overall play, and I think that Spezza can get 30 points over him a season. Fantasy matters. I don't like gambling with the rotating goalies either, so I think that you would win.
Sure would have been nice if he sold lower though wouldnt it?

One is a proven 100 point guy. There other guy should be pretty happy to be point per game with a max upside of 90.
If you have those feelings about Khabby (which I can totally see) then I think you should 100% accept this trade.
Yeah, Spezza "might" have some injury issues, I wouldn't worry about that. Just take it Shoeless!

The only thing that would prevent me from making this trade is if it were a salary cap based league. Otherwise I would grab Spezza. I do think he is selling low. Look at Spezza's point per game ratio prior to when Ottawa's whole offense stalled towards the end of last season. It is sick. At some point it will turn around. I own Spezza as well and have had buy low offers, but have decided to ride it out.

Yeah you guys are right - Khabi sincerely has no value on my team now or in the future so that is a non-issue for me.
I reflect on the fact that we can look at other guys teams and see so clearly and with our own team we get blind - strange phenomena - of course I have to do this - duh!
I am now left with Turco, Theodore, Clemmensen on my pro roster and Curry, Halak, Rinne, Schneider, J Bernier on my farm roster for goalies - I can start 2 weekly.
