1 yr yahoo h2h league

My current team:

C:Joe Thornton, E. Staal, Dereck Roy,
LW: Huselius, Parise, Heatley
RW:Marian Hossa, Setoguchi, Kovalev, Selanne
D:Burns, Weber, Quincey, Kuba, Ehroff
G:Theodore, Chris Mason, Luongo

His team:

C: M. Richards, Savard, Datysuk, Ribeiro
LW: lucic, ray whitney, Prospal, Frolov
RW:Kane, Dumont, Hemsky
D:Lidstrom, Wideman, Coburn, Streit
G:Kippy, Mike Smith, Dipietro

I think I'm just going to stay put, but thought I may try and trade Parise for Savard?

the commish on my league is dumb and didn't put a limit on the number of add/drops so i usually rotate guys though my roster daily.

I don't mind the value you're getting back, but the deal doesn't make any sense for you. Losing Parise compromises your LW and your depth at C and RW is hardly bolstered by either incoming player.

Let this one go.

completely agree. Don't bother going after savard either... your depth at all positions is good as it is right now... Trading parise without getting a left winger in return is ill-advised.

If you really want to make a deal, try to do something like parise/ehroff for frolov/streit.

I'd be more comfortable with that if i were you because you'd be upgrading your defense (which is arguably your weakest position currently).

Yup Ribiero is a complete waster for you in this trade especially since you have to find a drop and your team is good enough that the drop would have value. You really can't afford to lose that LWer

Lanky's suggestion has merit in theory but I am not a Frolov fan at all so could not support that trade idea in practice.
