P.Sharp+Ty Conklin for Steve Mason

My team is in my sig. Really trying to strengthen my team's goaltending. The other manager said if I were to get Mason from hm I would have to include Sharp in the trade. Here is what was proposed to me....
I receive:
G-Steve Mason
I give up:
C/W-P.Sharp
G-Ty Conklin
So as a result of this trade I would then be able to drop Ellis for a player from my FA list as I would have two sold starters in Lundqvist+Mason so I could afford to go with two goalies. Just wondering if Sharp+Conklin is too high of a price to pay for Mason? Thanks for the thoughts everyone.

I have a hard time believing that Mason is not among the top 12 keeper goalies at this point. You should be able to deal him to a team to upgrade that team's keeper goalie in the offseason. This trade is an immediate accept in my opinion. If I was offered this deal for my Mason I would angrily reject it.

I don't think it's a no brainer with the limited keeper thing in your league - Sharp is going to be a clear H2H asset in the playoff period of course, but if you can grab something decent off the wire to replace Sharp then I sure like the deal and look to trading as Krafter suggests.
