Have heard everything from "Top notch talent" to "Over-hyped".

I am still confused about his real talent, but I did take a flier and trade my 15th over all pick for him. My hope is that he can crack the Hawks line up and get 3rd line minutes with glimpses at the top 6.

The Hawks have drafted very well lately and Skille went 7th over all in 05'. My hope is that they are confident he has the talent to become a good if not great player in the next few years.

Any comments will be appreciated....

Buying Dobber's Prospect Report and Pool guide will give you some answers you seek. I have not personally heard much about Skille. Just what I have read in last years and this years report. Bugg would probably be able to tell you though

hyped as a Bill Guerin clone in his draft year - big, fast, and a wicked shot. His offensive game has stagnated, but he will be an NHL'er because of the other parts of his game. He will at worst be a tweener 2nd/3rd line banging winger... and a 30 goal first/second line guy at best.

Thanks Angus.... I have bought all Dobbers stuff for the past two seasons (which is excellent) Just looking for a Hawks fan or someone who has watched him to share their input.

He's got phenomenal speed, big size and solid hands. Everyone projects him as a power forward, yet he seems timid going into the corners?!?! I'd give him a 50% chance of making the team this year because there is a hole on the right side to fill. If he doesn't make it this year, he could be a fringe player the rest of his career.

I think he will make the team this year.. But he will not be an offensive force in any point of his career..
