What are the chances Little starts on the top line with Kovy? If he does, what's a realistic point total?

i am comfortable with where dobber has him in his guide. i am not a big fan of little... i think part of the reason why he is thought highly of is because he was the only good offensive prospect in the thrashers organization.
i think he'll start the year out of camp on kovy's line, barring something surprising happening. the team needs those two to click, so he'll be given his chance. but i think, when things get hectic, that they'll really start messing with the lines and i think you'll see him fall out of favour.

Going to be very interesting to see how things pan out. Little needs to grow his game and soon. Could be this year, but I would not be betting large on him.

Well,I understand that Little does everything right, but doesn't have superior feet. He's 5-10 and 190, just big enough. 25 points in 34 AHL games last year. He could surprise, but I wouldn't bank on it. I like him as my 5th centre to start the year. If things blow through the roof, by Christmas he could be third. I want to see him get 30 points before I'm calling him for 70.
How does Kovalchuk manage to get 50 goals, yet seemingly line up with no one? I guess Sundin did it for a decade in Toronto.

as someone who's actually watched the kid play live at the NHL level let me drop some knowledge on your ig'nant asses...hahha just kidding. No but really, this kid is a solid talent, he skates well, he has great hands, he drives the net when he has the chance and he seems to pair well with Kovy in the limited action I've seen with them both on the same line. He's not big as someone pointed out and that may count against him but he plays his ass off (think St. Louis type) ATL will be terrible next year but I dont see how he isnt allowed to pay center on the first line most of the year...if he does he's guaranteed 50 pts and could be a 60-65 pt guy if allowed free rein, keep a careful eye on him

I'm not a big fan of him. I think he's overrated but still has the talent. If he lines up with Kovalchuk, his numbers will be solid, but not this year. I like Dobber's prediction for this year.
