Soderberg/Halischuk/Smid/Hutchinson

With no needs, who should I pick... For my prospect/farm team.

Also, what do you think about my team?

In a 16 team league for you top forward to be M.Richards/St.Louis especially if your goalie is Vokoun makes me scratch my head a little. On the whole your team looks fairly solid, however I think you could have done a little bit better... I just don't see your elite talent being selected in the first round.

As for the guys you mention above... Hutchinson is more of a now player... so if you want a prospect/farm player I'd stay clear of him. With Soderberg behind C's Savard, Bergeron, Krejci, Sobotka up the middle on the B's he'll be more than a few years away. I personally like Halischuk or Smid in your lineup, I'm leaning towards Smid only because you have no D on your bench and only 2 on your farm team... couldn't help to have a third especially since you dress 6 D..

Well you got to keep 5 players and I was Florida to start and I kept Horton, Weiss, Matthias, Bouwmeester, Vokoun... Wasn't able to keep players like the Detroit's and Pittsburgh's... Thought it would be more of a challenge, so I dealt Horton for Lidstrom and a 5 pick upgrade and traded my 3rd pick for 9/24 to get some depth.... Some teams are pretty nasty but I do realize I;m coming from behind to start, I figured I'd try and go for some of the suppliment catagories like PIM, +/-, Goalies.... Thanks for the help anyways.

In this case, you did a great job since you started out with the Panthers... i can't believe the Philly guy didn't protect M.Richards... great steal for you. You've definately got yourself a challenge, and if you continue to make good moves, and your youngsters pan out you could be a threat in 3 years time.
