How long before this guy is #1 in WSH? Does he take over before the end of Theodore's contract next season?

I think Jose Theodore has been fixed. He's out of his personally troublesome home town, and it showed in Denver. He's going to get at least 4 or 5 goals scored by his offense with the Caps most games, and he'll thrive...

Varlamov's still young too. And he looked terrible in the super series.
I'm not seeing whatever the Caps saw when they drafted him, and lets face it most goalies aren't ready until deep into their 20's.

great point brown, this was the second time that I considered taking a goalie in my farm system (Bernier the other last year). Too many options at goalie to waste farm positions.

I'm with you Briarpatch
I hate holding spots for Goalies, you can wait forever and end up with nothing to show. That said I traded to get Pogge this year cause if you wait too long they're impossible to get later.
Thing with Goalies is there's always a few late bloomers nobody's ever heard of that just pop up.. Ya kinda have to just watch for the signs and grab them when the value is still low. How to do that effectively... I have no idea.
Goalies ... drive me nuts.

Neuvirth is going to be NHL ready before Varlamov will, by a year or two, and I believe he (Neuvirth) is still definately 2 seasons away!!
