Havlat + Connolly for Frolov

I am in a H2H, 18 team keeper league (20 keepers + prospects FW, PIMS... W, L, GAA, SV%, Saves, SO

This is my team:

G- Ersberg (1 game left)
G- Hiller

Farm: Oshie, Backlund, Schremp, Boyle, Wheeler, Hughes, Sekera (2 games left), Sanguinetti, T. Greiss, Jeremy Smith, T. Stephan, B. Bishop, JP Levasseur

I will have to move some players soon or else I will lose Sekera (since he has 2 games left before I have to bring him up or drop him) since I have 20 active NHL'ers on my roster.

I was thinking of getting a good LW and trade away some uncertain players in a 2/1, by sending Havlat and Connolly to a team in need of a RW in exchange for his Frolov... Is this trade worth it or should I do something else?

PS: that manager also has 2 other players I really want: Crosby and Doughty...

If Connolly could somehow stay healthy he would be a ppg player. But he can't, and I don't see him playing more than 65 games, and so he won't score more than 65 points. 65 point centers are very common.

Ditto for Havlat except more maddening because his ceiling is higher and he's even more fragile. I would normally suggest you wait for Havlat to have a hot start to the season and then trade him. But last year he got hurt right at the beginning, so...

You need these guys like a toe needs a hangnail. If you can turn them into Frolov, do it.

Yeah do it!!!! I wouldn't think twice cause Frolov will play as many games as both those guys combined.

That's a lopsided deal. Frolov is the best player in the deal, while the other two...while talented...already have a nice spot reserved on IR.

I'd take Frolov given the chance. We all know Havlat has 100 point potential, but he just doesn't play. Connolly has been pounded in the head so many times that one of these times he's going to get thumped and have to retire. He'd be worth nothing then. Two sad stories. Two exceptionally frustrating guys for you. If nothing else you'd get rid of some headaches.

Yes, Frolov hands down, the other two will not combine for ten games. But be prepared for frustration, Frolov scores in bunches and is quiet for even longer...

Hehe, I'm aware of that, and that's why I'm not too sure, but the overwhelming majority seems to think it's loopsided so I'll go with it and see what happens!
