hey guys, we only keep 4 in our 13 team league.. team is in my signy... i have a pretty good idea who im going to keep.. but just wanted a little input..
im also thinking of swapping daniel sedin for nicklas backstrom (wsh)... goals are worth 2 points, assists are 1...

With only 4 keepers, there should be some availability to pick up a decent golaie in the draft.

Based on stats I'd keep Thornton, Lundqvist, Sedin, and Hemsky. Although I don't like Thornton, Sedin or Hemsky as players outside of fantasy.

It doesn't look like you have any positional requirements. Also I'm not sure how your goalie points work.
With that in mind I would keep:
Thornton, Lundquist, Hemsky, Sedin or maybe Voracek.

pretty simple points league.. goal = 2, assist = 1
wins = 5, SHO = 2
sedin, jt, hemmer and lundy are the guys who i was thinking...
what do you think of backstrom? my only problem with him is he is like a thornton jr (with all the assists) and goals are weighted heavier

As much as I like him, given your stats, I would trade Hemsky for a 35-40 goalscorer if you can swing it.

WHy trade for Backstrom? SO you can have a bunch of keepers that give you the same type of numbers plus Henrik?
The Tin Man, Hemsky, and Backstrom dont give you enough goals which are weighted in your league.
Keep Lundy, Sedin, Hemsky and the Tin Man.

i was thinking of that too... who would you have in mind?? someone like nash or vanek?
i think i have to wait for the season to start and hope hemmer gets off to a quick start

I'd give Hemsky at least half of next season to convince you he's going to score more goals. He was a much more frequent sniper last season, posting the highest shots and goals of his career both per-game and total. He and the coaching staff were all talking about how it's something they want him to do more of, I think the aim is to make him a reliable 30-goal man because they know he can do that and still create chances for his teammates.
