Ive heard everything for 1st line to 2nd line to 3rd line and that the caps want to trade him... just wondering what where he'll eventually go, and if he's expendable in the fantasy world

Welcome J mauti,
Nylander will be on the PP unit as well as be centering the 1st and/or 2nd line depending on the night but it really depends on Boudreau. All in all he is a Assist guy who will have either OV or Semin on his wing and should get you at least 70-80 points when healthy. He was injured for most of last season so don't let that discurage you from keeping him
No he is not expendable as long as he is healthy.

Nylander is an elite passer. If he plays with a sniper, he can be a top 50 player.
I guess the Caps have Backstrom and may dangle him. Chicago is a rumored possible destination. Havlat from Nylander. Kane from Nylander. That would work for me.

I don't see a trade in the cards - Nylander is too much of a contributor and he has a no-trade clause.
He excels on the PP and will get his numbers for you - just wait on him, in the absence of a clearly better option.

He's starting out on the 3rd line, but is on the 1st PP unit. Weird, but expect the lines to change. I would still expect 60-65 points from Nylander this year.
