Well he needs to stay healthy to accomplish that but it seems like he certainly has the opportunity to do so. He is looking like a decent option for sure.

it does feel like he's always hurt but he was given a chance.

Not really - he will never be a keeper for you and unless he really catches fire he is unlikely to be that much better than some of your young guys - but I would watch him for sure.
