one signing, but mostly newsworthy people scoring in friendlies ... http://www.allhockey.ru/news/34255/Michael Ryan, last year in Buffalo, signed a one-year contract with Dynamo Minsk of the KHL. http://www.allhockey.ru/news/34244/Stefan Ruzicka scored another goal in Spartak's 8-1 massacre of Magnitogorsk (yesterday) http://www.allhockey.ru/news/34254/Radulov scored 2 goals, including the winner, in Ufa's 4-3 victory over Slovak side HC-36. Igor Grigorenko assisted on both goals, and Canucks D prospect Kiril Koltsov also assisted on the game winner (yesterday) http://www.allhockey.ru/news/34258/Dynamo Riga beat Baris Astrana 7-2. Nothing and no one of importance, but I just got a kick out of Mark Hartigan assisting on a Duvie Westcott goal ... (today) http://www.allhockey.ru/news/34277/Jagr finally put himself on the score sheet in Avangard's 2-3 loss to Spartak Moscow. He also assisted on their second goal (Pavel Rosa). Klepis assisted on both goals. Ruzicka scored 2 unassisted goals for Spartak, including the game winner. He is really lighting it up in the preseason so far - I think he had at least one goal in every game I looked at. |

Yea it's nuts, but I still find myself strangely intrigued by what former NHL'ers are doing in other leagues.

In that case, you'd be interested to know Kasparaitis and Zyuzin have been racking up the assists this pre-season as well. As is Oleg Kvasha. And Andreas Johansson is out 7-10 weeks with an injury (can't rememeber if it's a broken leg or a concussion). Didn't even bother to mention those. Let me know when you've had enough  |

Relatively speaking ... I think he's on a 2 points in 3 games pace. Kasparaitis, on the other hand, IS racking up points.

I could probably rack up points there. I got a mean wrist shot, but can't skate....still, that probably won't be a problem over there.
