Just wanted to let you know that FrozenPool.com now has one of
the most useful tools in fantasy hockey (aside from Dobber's Draft guide). It's called the
RotoRanker.
http://frozenpool.com/modules.php?name=RotoRankerIt objectively ranks every NHL player against their peers in over 2 dozen categories. It then takes all these ranks and gives you a composite rank (totaled) of all combined categories.
For instance,
Dany Heatley 1st in the league in Goals, 4th in Assists and 1st in Points. If you only chose these categories in the RotoRanker, his totaled score would be 6 (1+4+1), thus resulting in a #1 ranked player(s) (4 tied). The real power comes with adding many categories.
It's often difficult to gauge who is the best overall player for Yahoo and other rotisserie pools because of the many categories involved.
Not anymore!I've added default Yahoo templates (G,A,+/-,PPP,PIM,Shots) so all you have to do is click the players (All skaters, F, C,LW,RW,D,G) , date range (yesterday, last 3 days, week,month, all season) and click a button!
I've also added a Custom Ranking button so you can make your own ranking report to suit your own pool! Try it out and I hope it makes your life easier!
