Rutherford was on the double Doug (Armstrong and MacLean) show today; the last question was how close was Williams to returning. The answer was 24 hours. It wasn't specified whether that was return to practice or to playing.

Hey just posted a similar thing elsewhere!

On the Bill Waters show today Paul Maurice said Williams will play on Thursday.

EDIT: He also said that it would take a couple weeks to get him up to speed so expect limited ice time.

i would expect him to be eventually re-united with staal, who do u guys think is the 3rd player on that line? is it ray whitney or is he with brindamour?

i just picked him up 2 days ago on waivers. And I think Whitney is with Brind. Correct me if I am wrong.
