I wonder if it's maybe a club option? THN is pretty meticulous, but like I said they have been wrong before. I'll ask around.

Check that, I'm blind. Right beside his name on THN's list, it specifically says "Club Option".
So he would have been a UFA

Bergeron was signed for his shot on the PP. There was no room for him in Ana but there is in Minny. I don't know much about the PP setup in Minny but wouldn't a puck moving Burns and shooting Bergeron make a great combo. Doesn't make sense not to give him a try. If I were a coach I would use him just on the PP.

Yes, it will be Burns to Bergeron - lots of potential there. But the increase in Burns' points will be offset by a lesser need to double shift him on the PP. So I still say he'll be around 50 to 55 points.  |

we all have our man crushes, as long as it doesn't leave to a severe overpayment (done in the past for Bertuzzi by yours truly), it is alright. I also like Burns a lot because I think I was one of the first fantasy writers around hockey to call his breakout. Him being brought up just boosts my ego more and more.  |
