I know it sounds desperate, but does Jagr have an out clause?
Even if he does would he ever dare use it before he plays a single game or after 1 season? We are in a deep keeper league. If I have a spot open, do I keep him hoping he would return after a year or even after the 2 yrs are done in Russia? By then, 38, would he even be any value? Any chances this thing turns around, or is he a no doubt drop?

From what I have heard, there is no out clause.
After the 2nd year of the contract, there is an option for a 3rd year.
My guess is that we have seen the last of Jagr in the NHL.

Yeah, I think his NHL career is over. As a Flyers fan, I'm real happy he's out of the Atlantic division.

I haven't heard the exact numbers.
From everything that I have heard, its rumored to be about $7M tax free, or the equivalent of $11M in the NHL.

I think he is done in the NHL, but I would think there would be an out clause and he did not officially sign the contract. I know in both my leagues he will not be dropped regardless. Yashin wasn't dropped last year. Hell, Morozov still hasn't been dropped.
