Anyone else here think this creates new dark horses?
Any time a "two-way defenseman" changes teams, one should pay attention. Two-way d-men enable "jumpers" to play with more confidence, but if paired with "real" d-men, two-way d-men can jump up themselves.
Am I wrong, or do most d-man pairings include at least one d-man who can play "real" defense?
Dobber feels this doesn't hurt Brian Lee - I'm not so sure. (Nycholat is toast though.)
Kuba's a wanna-be jumper (he did well in spurts before). Picard is Meszaros-lite, with pop potential if he gets the minutes.
Carle should be in heaven. Meszaros plays better d, and if the coach recognize that, he'll be able to jump.
Thoughts?
