Re:Looking ahead

I like the "Looking ahead" articles per division by Angus, I actually did take some notes out of it.

I would only hope that you (or someone else) could do the same format for the East.

I actually agree with this... I think that Angus' articles about the west are wonderful, and I'd love to see something similar for the east.

I do understand the theory behind not having them (Angus writes about teams that most of us on the east coast don't know as much about because their games are much later at night).

I think he's run into a problem though, because he's written such good articles exclusively about the west that it leaves some of us wanting the same level of detail about the eastern teams as well.

Just thought I'd agree with fergie on this issue, because I've found myself looking for the corresponding eastern articles before realizing that Angus was the writer (forcing me to give up since he writes exclusively about the west at this point)...

thanks guys, really appreciate it. I don't see the East as much, but still enough to write on them.

I could fire up a few East "looking ahead" articles if the big man gives the go ahead!

I have my eye out for a new columnist to cover the east.

I was going to say I want Angus to cover the East too but then I thought better of it. If he covers the East too, he'll have less time to make his West columns so good. Dobber, I think you are on the right track by having someone else do the East. It doesn't have to be the same format because whoever you choose will likely come up with a good way to get his/her message across.
