Mapletreemarty - nice analysis, but you gotta shave about 1.5M off your cap calculations. Teams have to submit 23 player rosters that fall under the cap, which in most cases means 13 forwards and 8 d. You only account for 20. Even at minimum salary those three combine for 1.5.
Also, Clowe is RW, so what you'd need to add via free agency is and LW, unless you switch Setoguchi to LW.

the 1.5M discrepancy that fzusher points out can be accomodated by the cap going to 56M, as I've heard mentioned.
after that, you're just looking out for your bonus space, but we can leave that to accountants.
