Any feedback? Any ideas?

There are some interesting risks on the UFA market this summer: Ellis, Conklin, and Theodore to start. Huet is definitely the most proven, but will he see the open market?

I actually think Theodore, Huet and probably even Ellis will stay put...
And of the three, only Huet will do well. Conklin...who knows where he'll go. Teams that need a goalie need one because they already have a Conklin (unproven, with a couple of nice hot streaks to earn the No.1 job...and then falter)

It will be interesting. Good timing for this article.

I have a feeling Conklin will make his return to Canada and play with the Ottawa Senators. With Emery gone, they could use a back-up and why not have someone that could play right away if Gerber was hurt or struggling?? I know Elliot and Glass are in the Minors but I just can't see them rushing either of them at this point.

I think Huet will stay in Wash, I think they will offer him some good money and he will take it, I don't think he is going to get a better opportunity to win then with Washington.

Theodore wants to stay in Colorado, and I think they will get him to stay for $3-3.5 instead of the ridiculous $5 million he was making.

I know Nashville wants Ellis to stay and I think they would rather trade Mason, funny how much changes in one year. Mason was supposed to take over for Vokoun.. I think Ellis might want the big contract..

Is anybody going to want Kolzig?? Is anybody going to want Raycroft??

Who takes the chance on Emery? What do the KINGS have to lose really. Bernier will be in the minors one more year, so see what Emery and Labarbera can do..

Who knows.. Good article though, nice read..
Z..

I'd take a chance on Raycroft way before I'd take a chance on Emery. I think the Kings will push for one of the above goalies if they make it to the market, I could defintely see Conklin in LAhe japanese tendy.

Hopefully Harding. He had a rough season but definitely in my opinion is the better goalie.

Wild fans seem to be slagging Backstrom because of his inconsistency and penchant for weak goals.

It'll either be Backstrom by a hair or Harding pushing for an even split. Harding is pro-ready.
This is going to be backstrom's final year in the Wild, and they'll likely trade him off at the deadline for playoff help. Harding down the stretch whether they keep backstrom for the ride or not.

er...we are talking about ANDREW Raycroft right? And he IS still on the leafs isn't he? Does your league reward pts for goals against and failure? lmao

haha ya I'd definitely take Emery over Raycroft any day. For the record, I will be shocked if Theo walks this summer.
