June 10 update will have more undrafted profiles. Perhaps bringing the total to as many as 180, likely as many as 150, and definitely up to 90. It depends on how many Bugg can do this week. As for the French version - please be patient. It should be up by Wednesday, but Tuesday is possible.

Ah, perfect. Well I wanted to know why Schneider's upside was that of an average starter. I thought especially after this season he was ranked up there with some of the better goaltending prospects, or does it all come down to his situation? Otherwise a really good read and great for reference. Just as it came out I had a fellow member tell me how great the THN guide was... , going on about shrewd picks...etc...who cares? LOL

Average starter...is pretty damn good. To me, that says the goalie will rank anywhere between 10th and 20th in all the stats each season. That's not Brodeur, Luongo, Kipper, Lundqvist elite...and it's not at the other end, either...

Oh well. It was nice to hope I could keep some info to myself. There goes my new draft strategy.

The one thing that caught my eye right away was that Bugg had Dick Axelsson ranked 8th on his top 40 and Dobber didnt have him in there at all. I never heard much about him to begin with, so when he was rated that high by Bugg it definitely caught my attention. So whats the consensus, is he ranked too high by bugg or is dobber missing the boat on him?!?!

Hey Dobber(or Bugg), I took some closer looks at your '08 draftee descriptions, and I agree with most of them but one that sticks out immediately is Jamie Arniel. I've seen about a dozen games he's played in(not a whole heck of a lot, but I'm a Bulls local) and he was pretty incredible in the faceoff circle. You speak of him needing to move to the wing because his FO skills are inadequate and that just baffles me. For what it's worth, E.J. McGuire agrees with me, stating "Jamie is one of the best face-off men in all of the CHL". Just one of a few things that puzzled me. He had a bad year and looked fairly out of place in Sarnia, and I agree with a lot of what's said(except the baffling three year prediction of 86-81-48...although I assume you mean he's called up to the AHL midseason when he's 21). It's probably just a slight nagging in my mind. It's just I can't find FO% stats for the OHL anywhere(unless I'm blind), and I'm just going on what I've seen and some word of mouth.

Hi Dobber,
Any chance the prospect report would be available in a spreadsheet format for easy sorting on position? (for us lazy folks) It would be great to just take a quick look at goalies only, for example.
I read the report last night and it took quite a while..kudos on the info. I'm sure I'll have to go through it a few more times and make notes.
Perfect timing for drafting in the Comish Dynasty Pool..I wonder if all 30 of us are reading the same report.
One other note, would it be possible to include a note from yourself or Bugg in cases where your rankings are different by 10 or more. The Axelsson example above was a good case.
Thanks, Rad

just curious why Peter Harrold wasn't mentioned in the LA article?
Do you consider him a graduate?

Some players were missed because we limited it to 8 or 10 per team. Leaving some out may cause controversy but it is not a slight on the player - we just wanted to point other players out. Harrold, Kolarik and Kennedy were all close to being reviewed, but in the end we just had to stick to our limit of reviews. Harrold is well known, but Martinez gives you that pool edge.
