i gotta apologize again for my 4 hour wait yesterday guys... either you were incredibly patient with me, or someone was real creative with the editing in this thread! haha.

you know, i used to think that i wanted to live in van-groovy for a little while, but 2 months of rain in Calgary has made me rethink that. this past weekend drove another big nail in the coffin for that idea too... my new goal is to find a job that will land me in Osoyoos, BC (and if not there, i'd settle for any town call "Peachland" or "Lake Country" or "Summerland"). damn i loved that area.

anyway, it's a good thing my trip went so well (i shot an 87!!) because i was in fantasy hockey purgatory! the only look at the draft i got was in some crappy pub with terrible food, and then all i saw was the ticker at the bottom of sportsnet's soccer coverage (which only showed top-10 and canadian picks). we were getting text messages about some of the trades (i birdied the hole on which we received the cammalleri-trade text... take from that what you will!).

anyway, its gonna take me a while to get caught up on everything that went down. also gonna have to work on getting my Tangauy-Flames jersey worked on, damnit.

PS. just spent 10 minutes reading that radulov-filatov thread, and all i can say is that i'm happy i have em both!

Move to Vancouver man ... best place ever. The rain is usually light rain so u don;t even notice it. Barely anyone ever uses an umbrella.

i saw that goalie one, i chimed in on dobber's side. i almost responded to tequila's post, but restrained myself. not worth debating with that cement-head. i think green is capable of 30 goals in his career. perhaps angus should have replaced "will" with "could" in his article, but oh well.

you happy with the canuck's draft crazy? who'd you guys get.. hodgson?

yeah I probably will regret even trying to have a reasonable debate with the tequila but I needed to prove a point. I don't know if he will reach 30 goals but I think he has the best opportunity to do so given his skill, AO/Backlstrom factor and Boudreau letting him be all offense.

I'm so happy with Hodgson.... so glad we didnt go with beach. We need leadership not a guy who has the potential to be a superstar. Hodgson is the perfect fit to replace Linden.

yeah, i agree with you. hodgson at 10 is a great deal... i still can't believe the isles took bailey ahead of him. they must really like what they see in that kid.

i guess i'm warming to this nemisz kid, and now i see that colborne got picked at 16 and so would never have made it to us anyway.

fletcher goes with the unpopular pick and gets schenn, eh? right move, but that re-building plan is kinda wacky.

and now that pitts-atlanta hossa trade is hossa for armstrong, esposito, christensen, and leveille? that trade keeps looking better and better.

I will be away from June 24th to June 25th.

I will not have internet access and will be back late on Thursday. I will try to make my pick by midnight CST (technically June 26th).

Things are kinda hectic, I have to deal with some stuff before leaving, so if I can, I will leave a short list. But if I can't I apologize.

Some of the players taken recently were on my short list, so it does not make things any easier...lol
