thanks for the head's up nehithaw.
just going through the picks i missed... great ones were yandle with that trade news, cleary (damn you commish!) and legwand. quite a few of those (and other picks) made me regret my ehrhoff pick... thats what i get for making it on the beach using some random guy's blackberry without my list.
the upside? i chose ehrhoff over goligoski, and got my man 36 picks later!

a lot of peoples teams should start to balance out now....crazynuck wont ahve such a better team than a lot of people once he starts drafting 5 dollar plays while others still draft the 30-50s

Hey guys,
Since there is not too much activity going on.....
I just made a trade for James Wisniewski in another pool based on next years performance. Since I've never had a chance to measure the value of a draft pick..
Pick based on Wisniewski's Yahoo ranking at the end of the 2008-09 regular season for defensemen only.
1-10 receives 1st round Farm pick
11-25 receives 2nd round Farm pick
26-40 receives 3rd round Farm pick
41+ receives 3rd round Pro pick
We start 6 D, 12 teams 17 Pro keepers, 4 farm keepers this season.
Wisniewski ranked around 34th in a similar one year league I was in this year. If he plays a full slate, he may move up a bit, but I can't see him leaping into the top 25. Therefore, I'm looking at giving up a third round Farm pick. If he gets hurt or his performance drops I only give up a third round Pro pick.

Great pickup Rads... he's definately a quality contributor across many categories, and you don't have to worry about him getting into the top 25, as his production will be behind guys like Barker, Keith, and Seabrook.

Also, your team in this league is shaping up nicely, good mix of young, and vets, with a couple guys in their prime.. Great drafting so far  Hopefully you don't steal any of the guys i'm interested in rounds 11 and 12. |
