- The Canuck fan in me LOVES the Hodgson pick. After Stamkos/Filatov, he is the best forward in this draft.
- Look for Bieksa for either Cole or Williams to go down. Apparently Gillis has been talking a lot with Carolina
- LA could have gotten more for Cammalleri, but he is a UFA in a year and wants to test the market.
- there have to be some issues for Jokinen that we don't know about. Ballard is a solid guy, but on the surface that is an awful deal. Apparently Jokinen has a bit of an attitude
- Lots of good talent available. Ness, Niemi, Dalpe, etc. First round quality for the next 10 picks.
- Darryl Sutter is awesome. The guy is a shrewd dealer and pretty funny in interviews as well.
