You think the Hawks give Kyle Beach a shot at LW on the second line?
They have brought kids in early that have had the talent. Strictly based on talent he was up there in this years draft....it was the injury and attitude problems that made him drop to 11th.
Other than that haven't heard much else about Beach.

Keep in mind Byfuglien's knee injury keeping him out until January. There's going to be a few spots in the Hawks top 3 lines that will have to be filled by the youngins

What do you think the Hawks PP is going to look like? Is there a spot on it for Byfuglien? In my league, he is still listed as a defenceman, and is more valuable. Beach definately gets a long look, and a shot.  |

In prospects camp, Igor Makarov has been the standout forward, so I'm guessing that he'll be competing with Skille and the others for those spots in the top 9.

Think I jumped the gun. It was Wisneiwski (sp?) who injured his knee. Damn big F/D with difficult names.

Beach definately gets a long look, and a shot. Ramrod - I doubt Biff will see a lot of PPP time and it will be 2nd line PP when he does. I have been wrong before there could be some early changes to things in Chicago - I am still wondering how ready Havlat is going to be - and how long he will last this time if he is.

I am really looking forward to seeing Makarov. Have heard so much about him. I think the Hawks do want to get Beach's attitude into their 'room' and lineup.
