Ready for some offseason updating here. This is one list that I look for feedback and take things into consideration. Hasek retired, who takes his spot in the executive? Who deserves removal? And no, one full season is not enough for removal, I need at least a season and a half of missing just a couple of games. If one person mentions Gaborik here, I'll shut the site down haha Who deserves to be added? Promoted? Demoted? The purpose of the BAB list is to list off players who negatively impact trade negotiations if you mention their name and/or you take a chance that he won't give you a full season if you draft him. Basically, if you are willing to bet someone $500 that the player will not get to 74 games, then he should be on this list. If you are willing to bet $500 that the player will play 75 or more games, then he should be off the list. Real money, not monopoly money!!

I'm thinking a guy like dan cloutier could be your man.
Or how about Kari Lehtonen, you can have the first time ever two brothers being in the front office.
Another Edit. How about Ohlund. this guy just can't stay healthy it seems.

Without a doubt, Hasek's spot on the Executive HAS to be taken by none other than Marian Gaborik.
Seriously, Secretary of Groins. Let's play a little word association game:
Concussions - Lindros Peanut Butter - Jam Annoying - Avery Peaches - Cream Groin - Gaborik
Let's just say it's not a stretch to pull Gaborik towards that position.

How about Eric Cole? Last three years GP: 73, 71, 60. Has only broken the 74 game barrier twice out of six seasons.

I'd have to say Souray. Other than that 1 year he's been garbage. Most over-rated band aid boy D man. Can you tell what I really think of him? Really though, he's always got something. Definitely should be up there in the executive offices.

lmao 'secretary of groins' thats priceless...beyond Gabby here are my nominees:
-Forsberg (don't even know if he is coming back but he's a shoe in to miss most of the season if he does) -Demitra (should miss 12-20 games) -Afinogenov (so much potential but he seems to go down every year for an extended period) -Jordin Tootoo (ok so hes not much of a fantasy player but just because of the way he plays I have a hard time seeing him playing anything close to a full season) -Havlat (band-aid gold) -Jovo (last year was just a tease to trick you into drfating him too early, I'll be surprised if he plays more than 2/3 of his games)

Hasek got big shoes to fill, a little more seasoning is required for a few candidates before a replacement is named.
Let's certify Samsonov.
Zetterberg deserves another look, at least a downgrade to trainee.
Horton's played two full seasons in a row. I'd keep an eye on him this year and hope those shoulder problems don't affect him.

I think Havlat is the most obvious choice to replace Hasek.
