I didn't see these guys get any recent posts on point totals for next season so I figured I'd ask... Assuming they all make their respective teams, what does everyone think their range of point totals is in reach for next season?
Voracek Backlund Matthias Hornqvist Makarov
Karma handed out like candy on Halloween to all that reply with quality answers. Thanks!

Voracek - 45 points, mostly assists. small chance (10%) that he really fits in and gets 60.
Backlund - none, he'll be in sweden
Matthias - 50 points (a better David Booth)
Hornqvist - 35 points
Makarov - 35 poitns, part time duty only (50, 60 games?)

All have a possibility to make their teams.
If Voracek makes Columbus, I think he'll be 2nd line and get 40-50 points.
Backlund could possibly get as high as Iginla's line or not even make it at all. 50-55 on Iginla's line, 35 points on any other line.
Matthias is probably the guy with the chance to put up the most here. I see him getting 45-50 and I think he will definitely make Florida.
Hornqvist, if he gets top 6 time, could get 25 goals and 45-50 points.
Makarov could explode in Chicago and get up to 60 points if he makes it.

Do you really think Backlund will be back in Sweden this year? I read that he dominated prospect camp. Sounds like he might be ready to make the jump. Do you have info to the contrary?

Thanks everyone for your replies. Karma to everyone when it reloads.
I heard Backlund tore up camp too, and I'm just assuming he plays here. I guess we'll see. Hopefully they all can crack at least 45 pts next year.

voracek - assuming 9 GP from the start 4 pts, sent back to the Q. Smart move not to rush.
backlund - they wait a year. If he makes the club f/t - 25 pts sounds good.
matthias - assuming top 6 mins 45-50 pts.
hornqvist - assuming top 6 mins 50-55 pts.
makarov - assuming a cup of coffee. Chi town too crowded. He needs to wow management a year in the A.

Do you have info to the contrary?you have very little reason to believe me, as i only saw him once during development camp, doing skating drills, but he didn't wow me. that's all i've got.

as a hawks fan im hoping makarov makes it but i could see him go back to russia for another year and then next year split it between the ahl and the nhl
