Has anyone heard of this guy? Wow, his stats in NCAA last year were sick, 60 pts in 41 games for a d-man!
Dobber syas he could get 40 pts in the guide, but I do not see a write up on him under notes. No other news I could dig up other than he's 22 and signed a 2 yr deal. Played 2 games last year, 1 pt.
Is he not a steal? Do you think this is too good to be true?

Looks like this is your guy. One good season in the NCAA. 60 PM. Maybe a transposition error? Makes more sense why most of us haven't heard of him.

37 pts in 41. 60 is the PIM. Read that wrong. But still, those numbers are fairly impressive....

Yeah, I go out on a limb...I do that sometimes. Perhaps he winds up just like Wagner did last season. But there is promise. Would you like me to do a "lowdown" on him? email me! dobber at dobberhockey . com

Garth Snow said when he signed him he was the most sought after college player to turn free agent this year. He gave him a big signing bonus and threw him straight into the show. These are all very good signs. Plus they need puck moving Ds, particularly of the healthy kind ...
I signed him in one of my leagues, and then succumbed to temptation and traded him away. Kicking myself over it now, but what's done is done.

Yea, I saw that too, and was kinda surprised about Hillen. OK, I was VERY surprised about Hillen. I usually keep pretty good tabs on prospects and such, so not all that much surprises me, but this one sure did, even if Dobber is going out on a limb here. This is exactly the reason why I buy the Guide and Prospect report

Thanks guys, good info fzusher.
I too did not see an upside on him in the guide, nor did I see any write up going into more detail. I'm gonna write Dobber as instructed.
He seems like a great late round dark horse.

Hah, nice work, I was just about to start a thread asking about this guy. I have read up a pile on up and coming D this summer as that's my current weak point, but this guy jumped out of the guide like a blinking light as I haven't honestly even heard of him before. He's pretty high up Dobber's D ranking page now too.
Mind posting any info you find on the guy here? Would be much appreciated.
