Here's the league rules still need some owners.
Draft: • Live Draft, 9/25/08 10:00 pm ET.
• 25 Rounds, with 120 seconds between picks.
• Draft robot enabled - picks are made automatically for teams that let the clock expire.
Player Pool: All Players.
Positions: C, W, D and G.
Transactions: • Lineups are set once for the start of each period.
Deadline is 30 minutes before gametime on the first day of the period.
• Owners may set lineups.
• Add/drops are handled by a waivers process.
• The waivers process runs on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
• Dropped players remain on waivers for at least 1 day(s).
• Trades must be approved by the commissioner.
• No trades can be made after the trade deadline of 11:59 pm et 1/25/09.

• Owners may not make trades during the offseason.
Schedule: Weekly scoring periods, starting on Mondays.
Playoffs start in Period 25 and last for 3 Periods.
Fees: League Entry Fee: $56
Scoring: Head-to-Head, Points Based System.
Scoring based on total stats each period.
Ties in the standings are resolved in this order: Winning Percentage, Total Points.
Scoring for Categories
+/- - Plus Minus 1 point
A - Assists 2 points
DA - Defenseman Assists 1 point
DG - Defenseman Goals 2 points
G - Goals 3 points
GA - Goals Against -1 point
HT - Hat Tricks 3 points
Maj - Majors 3 points
OTG - OT Goals 1 point
PPA - Power Play Assists .5 points
PPG - Power Play Goals 2 points
S - Saves 0.25 points
SHA - Short Handed Assists .5 points
SHG - Short Handed Goals 1 point
SHOG - Shootout Goals 1 point
SO - Shut Outs 4 points
SOG - Shots on Goal .25 points
W - Wins 5 points
Constitution: Roster sizes as follows:
12 active forwards (any position)
6 active defenseman
2 active goaltenders
5 reserve players
Main Roster Draft:
We run under a live draft setup. If you are not able to be here for the live draft you must submit pre rankings. If you do not to the following it will be your own loss......no excuses. Draft picks are also allowed to be traded during the draft.
Prospect Draft:
In addition to the Main Roster Draft we will hold a 4 round Prospect Draft. Prospects are defined as any player under NHL contract who has played fewer then 40 NHL regular season games. Once a prospect has accumulated more then 40 games they must be moved to the main roster, traded or waived.
Keepers:
7 regular keepers will be allowed from any position but only 2 goalie per team.Plus the 4 players on each teams prospect roster remain the teams property.
Playoffs:
The top 4 teams from each division will make the playoffs.
Trades:
Must be approved by the Commissioner. Only deals that the majority of the franchises have raised objections to, will get reviewed. If a trade is in review both teams involved in the trade will be asked to give a statement regarding why the deal should be approved. After which the Commissioner will make a decision.
Yearly Entry Fee:
All Franchises must pay a 56 dollar fee for each season. This fee must be payed through Paypal 2 weeks prior to draft.
Prize Payout:
800 dollars will be available in prize money. It will be up to the franchises to vote on the best way to distribute the money.
Cause for expulsion:
1. Minimal participation
2. Abandonment of a team or apparent abandonment of a team.
3.Any actions that cause damage to the league.
4.Collusion amongst owners.
Special note- Smack talk and active participation on the message board is encouraged. Being rude, offensive or aggressive will not cause expulsion!
