Which 2 should I pick? (my picks)

Josh Tordjman or (Joel Gistedt)

I already have Montoya.

Thoughts?

I am going to start with the goaltending selection - I recommend Tordjman. I live in Moncton and watched this kid play on several occassions during the Wildcats' run at the Memorial Cup in 2005-6. He came over mid-season in a deal with Victoriaville and dominated from then on. He posted a 2.31 GAA and .915 SV% with Moncton which are stats typically unheard of in the offensive minded QMJHL. Tordjman helped lead Moncton to the QMJHL Regular Season and Playoff titles and nearly a Memorial Cup - Radulov was absolutely awesome in that game, Tordjman had no chance.

Tordjman is an athletic goalie, well balanced and focused. The one knock on him is weight, at 155 lbs he is pretty much a twig. Despite that, he is very determined and has continued to outperform expectations on him. His game has translated well to the AHL and he retained the starting role last season when Montoya came in. He posted a 3-3 record with a sick .941 SV% in a losing cause in last year's AHL playoffs. I have him on my radar because IMO he is a very underated prospect.

As far as the Hab prospects, I'd rank them in this order:

Y.Weber - PPG D in the OHL and lead all D at the WJHC with 6 pts playing for SUI. The Habs stole him in the 3rd round.

R.McDonagh - Had a good first season in the NCAA, named to the WCHA All-Rookie. It will be interesting to watch his development this year.

M.Trunev - Another talented Russian forward with a big question mark if he will play in the NHL. He is goal right now is to play in the KHL for the next 2 seasons.

M.Carle - the offensive talent is there but he needs to work on playing in his own end in order to make it the NHL

A lot of Phoenix fans are really high on Tordjman, more so than Gistedt, so I guess I would go with him. Did you decide against Ross?

I wish I knew more about Trunev.

I took Ross.

I replaced Ross with Kaigorodov and dumped Jared Staal and Trunev is a question mark.

Looks like Tordjman is the one then.

I think I may be leaning toward Weber and Trunev.

2 D-man keepers should be good.
