What is brindamours value in a half keeper points only. Meaning, if one would only use him for one year (not protecting) what can we expect point wise? Maybe late round draft or is he still a decent option?
thanks for the input

that means we keep half our team (roughly) we keep the amount of points that our top guy finishes with divided by 2. so this year 741 pts worth of players.
so basically comes down to between 11 and 16 players

You bet he's worth a risk as a late pick. People love to write off the old guys. Those old guys do a lot of damage. Brind'Amour is famous for his conditioning and still plays over 20 minutes a night. I'd trade you a prospect for the chance to drive the Brind'Amour train this coming year! Oh, I got him and don't regret it a bit! (No one ever asks for him, so I just drive and drive and drive and drive and drive... (cost me a pick when he jumped back to 70 points!) When he'll crash - no one knows! Count on 60 point pace. Wonder for 75!

I think Hot Rod gets about 70 points and is under-valued and over-looked by 70% of poolies. If you need a guy for one season to round out your group of forwards (looking for production in the 65-75 point range) Roddy is your guy.
