Eric Cole vs R.J. Umberger ( I have dobber's hockey guide but I still would like to get everyone's opinion on this.

the pt system is as follows:

goal= 1pt
assist =1pt
so goal= 1pt
shg = 1 pt
gwg = 0.5
otg = 0.5
ppg = 0.5
empty net goal = 0.5


I am leaning towards Umberger based on his age, entering his fourth year, playing with the top line of Nash and Huselius. However, I am concerned that Umberger seems to be inconsistent in his production while Eric Cole seems to be a stable 55 - 65 point guy.

Cole, for me.

Should get lots of minutes on EDM's young top line - seems like a perfect fit for what the team needed up front.

Umberger could easily get replaced by one of CBJ's young guns (Brassard, namely) if he doesn't produce; meanwhile, Cole is a little older but definitely more proven.

Your league is super goal-oriented, and I think Cole should outscore Umberger by 5 to 10 goals.
