Hey Dobb's I find myself always leaving your site and going to another site to check the scores of games that are in progress, have you thought of putting up a ticker in the corner? Or a scoreboard somewhere on the site.?.?
Just curious, you said you liked feedback, so there's a little...

Good idea - I'll look into that. You check the scores? (easy to add) or scoring summaries? (hard to add)
I guess I always figured that people would leave to check both...especially since we're talking about poolies here.

i agree ,am always going to other sites for player bios,that would be a big plus for this site dobber.as well a goalie prospect list for the up and coming goalies would be nice.

I usually have cbs.sportsline's java based scoreboard up on another browser. It updates scores with last play, and last goal automatically. It's pretty awesome.

i use that site as well , our pool manager uses it to tally our pts , etc.

The nice thing about cbs.sportsline's is that it gives audio updates as well. So I can be watching one game on TV and I'll know when somebody scores in another one when the goal horn goes off. Bad thing about sportsline is that I find they aren't very accurate with the goal scoring and often end up having the change the players who were actually in on the goal.  Nothing worse then thinking one of your boys’ pots a PP goal then it’s later changed to rival's player. |

I miss the old NHL.com live icecasts. Is that what they were called? I forget. They stopped offering them five or six years ago, shot charts and such, good stuff. I remember listening to the Avs on the radio back in college with the icecast up on my screen while writing a paper. And ironically, that was BEFORE the BS deal with Versus.
