Russ Miller, author of Eastern Edge, was raised in Edmonton and currently resides in Oslo, Norway. The Comish has been running hockey pools of all types for almost 25 years. He has closely followed the NHL since the WHA merger in 1979. Russ lists Ken Linseman and Theo Fleury as his all-time favourite hockey players and mentions that he might have made the NHL if it wasn’t for a serious shortage of height and an obvious lack of talent. He has enjoyed the experience of playing hockey in several European countries (none professionally) and is very proud to be Canadian. |

Matt Bugg, author of Bugg Bytes, is an Alberta boy, born and raised. He began his professional writing career as a reporter for a small prairie weekly at the age of 16, and has since contributed to print, radio and electronic media services. He is hard at work on a non-fiction hockey novel that covers the rise of the Kimberly Dynamiters, the first British Columbia hockey team to win an Allan Cup and World Championship.
