Peter Mueller's tough sophomore campaign continues. He left last night's contest with a minor concussion. He'll probably be out a week to 10 days.
Steve Ott has five points in his last five games, to go with a plus-2 rating.
Satan played 15 minutes last night and was on the second PP unit, but did not get in on any of the six goals, to the disappointment of his owners. He has five points in his last 16 games and won't break out of it unless reunited with Crosby.
Henrik Zetterberg will miss tonight's contest with a sore back. He has had back problems before – that and his wrist are the reasons that he is on my Band-Aid Boy Trainee list. He is an injury risk.
Selanne was a minus-2 in his return to action last night, but he played nearly 18 minutes. His return shaved about two minutes off of Bobby Ryan's ice time, but didn't stop the youngster from scoring another goal. Ryan has points in 20 of his last 24 games and has 27 points in that span.
The Pens' Goligoski is ready to return to action, but was a healthy scratch. We warned you of this as early as 2007's prospect report – Goli is an awesome offensive prospect, but there is no room for him in Pittsburgh and a trade is required. Short of that, Goli owners will have to wait until Sergei Gonchar leaves town in a year.
